Extra Audio when playing game

Andrew Compton shared this bug 16 months ago
Won't Fix

I recently installed space engineers on steam.  When I start the game I start to hear audio from some tutorial talking in the background and is not part of what I am doing I looked around and have nothing else playing on my desktop.  Is there something I am missing?

Hello, Andrew Compton,

thank you for contacting us and I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Can you determine what tutorial is it? Is it an official tutorial for Space Engineers or something unrelated? Does the audio play even after you restart your computer and reload the game? Are you using any mods or scripts?

Can you please send me your latest log?

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Thank you in advance.

It would still start over again after a full restart. I think its a Steam issue because I asked the same thing on reddit and someone suggested to press "shift-tab" and it pulled up a persistent browser I wasn't even using and I was able to stop the tutorial from playing then and it hasn't happened since.
