Waves not starting in Never Surrender-Scenario

Hi,
I am playing Never surrender, actually restarted because in my last save I had the same problem.
When I press the button nothing happens. Checked the grid list in the admin menu.
This time I was very careful not to disconnect anything at the Space Base because I thought that might have been the problem with the other save.
Scripts are disabled but I modified some of the advanced settings, like increasing PCU limit. Also I reduced mods to the ones I really don't want to play without.
Modlist pasted as image, save attached.

I have the same bug
Did some further testing and it was indeed the HUD Compass - Mod. As soon as it was enabled once the first wave won't trigger.
Now I created a new save, pasted my mothership, made another backup and teleported myself to the station. It works :)
I might contact the mod maker and see if they can fix it.
