Won't Fix

I've been trying for a while now but cant seem to get asteroids to spawn on my server in space I've looked everywhere to try and find a solution but nothing I try works. This is quiet annoying as me and my brother have put a lot of effort into this to find out that the asteroids are not spawning. Please can anyone help me?

Hello, Aaron van der Vyver,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce it. Could you share further information with me?

Sharing your save file would be very helpful to me.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

I have a Nitrado server, and the General settings are just unclear about the asteroids and i feel any other setting filled in incorrectly will just spawn me a default world sometimes with the planets and sometimes without.

Maybe put some extra info explaining what value does what and what the max and minus are on the values.

Also if i do it through Expert mode, it is even more fague.

It maybe helps if your xml writer adds some info with the <!> so we know what you guys mean when we are setting it up!

And maybe post some example sheets to use with Default settings with a variety of maps on a seperate page on the website.

thank you!

Meh, I fixed it.

GO to your save files in the file browser, delete em all, delete the saved dedicated cfg in the same folder as well

then put in all the info and at the procedural asteroid thingy, put 0.35

dont forget to put crossplay on otherwise u cant find it!
