Won't Fix

Putting it here because I accidently put it in the Xbox section

Hello all!

I recently bought the game but found when I start a new game I get the error failure to load.

I have validated the game two times(the second time is running as I type) and have deleted the .cfg file as well.

Here are the three logs I have regarding the incident;

1st;

https://pastebin.com/6t3Hpm3m

2nd;

https://pastebin.com/s1SjH0g0

3rd:

https://pastebin.com/EAM4dKPW

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello, Alex!

Thank you for writing to us, and we apologize that you're experiencing this issue.

If the issue has not been resolved after your second attempt at validating the game files, we recommend trying to perform a clean installation of the game. To do this, please follow the steps below:

1) First, back up all your blueprints and the world save files in a different folder. You can access your blueprints and saved files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\ Blueprints and Saves folders. Copy and paste these folders into some other folder/drive.

2) Uninstall the game from Steam and delete every leftover in the AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers and \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers folders.

3) Reinstall the game through Steam and check if the issue persists.

If the issue gets resolved after the clean installation, you can paste the previously moved Blueprints and Save folders back into the AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers folder. This will restore your blueprints and saved files.

However, if the issue persists, kindly send us the latest log files.

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

We are looking forward to assisting you with this issue.

Kind Regards,
