Hotbar shows gray error box when building from blueprint

Alberto Bueno shared this bug 17 months ago
Duplicate

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create any ship or construction. It's important that the cockpit is NOT placed last.

2) Add items to that cockpit's hotbar.

3) Save blueprint.

4) Take out a projector, and try to rebuild the saved construction from the blueprint, using a welder (not copy-pasting).

You'll observe that the hotbar is now full of errors. It seems (inconsistently) that blocks placed in the grid after the cockpit was placed do not properly save to the blueprint. An (inconsistent) fix is to grind down the cockpit and save it again, but this is not working in many ships.

Happens both with mods and in full vanilla.

Attached:

A blueprint where this error happens. This can be tested in a vanilla empty world without mods.

A log of my current game session.
