Добрый день я купил у вас DLC Automatons в Steam указано что всё установлено а в игре контент отсутствует.

Подскажите что делать очень нравится ваше DLC Automatons.

Hello,

thank you for writing back to us in English.

Well, it would help, if you would tell me, where exactly you bought the game.

If it was through our web-page shop, you should have received confirmation email with details and game code. This code needs to be activated on Steam using the "Add a game – Activate a Product on Steam" option.

If bought directly on Steam, the DLC should be added automatically to your game. You can double-check by right clicking on SE in your Steam library -> Properties -> DLC.

Please tell me if you can find the DLC there in this list and/or how you tried to activate it.

Once you have properly activated the DLC on Steam, the Automatons DLC should be available in the list there with ability to tick/untick (install/uninstall) each of the DLCs.

Any more information that you can share would help me as well.

all other DLC have been installed and this DLC has not been installed, more precisely, Steam writes that everything is installed and there is nothing from this DLC in the game.

Well, this seems more complex than only ticking the DLC icon Off and On I suppose.

thank you for reaching our forum regarding your issue.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this.

Can you please some general workarounds, first?

  • Verify your game files in Steam – right-click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files
  • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file (it means your game configuration will be deleted) – you can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
  • Delete ShaderCache folder – same access as above
  • Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
  • Restart Steam
  • Reinstall the game

If none of this would work for you, can you please send me similar images as I send here to you – from Main menu, where the badges are and also a screenshot of the G-screen from within the game.

Can you also please share me a log file of your game?

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Hello, Engineer,

thank you for providing me these.

I can see that you indeed do not have the DLC active in the game. But from log it seems that you don't even have the DLC installed at all.

Can you please try to disable (untick) the DLC in Steam? In Library right click on SE -> Properties -> DLC.

After that, restart Steam and once properly launched and loggged in, go back to DLC page and tick back the Automatons DLC. It should be added to your download queue automatically, download and installed to your game.

If that still won't work on your side, please uninstall the game completely and perform clean install. By that I mean that once the uninstall process ends, locate both folders where the game data are stored (the Roaming folder and also SE folder in Steam folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers)) and make sure there are no leftover files left. If there are some, please delete those manually (you might want to back-up e.g. your saves and blueprints first).

If you will install the game anew, it should be installed properly and with everything set to default. Hopefully also all your DLCs (including Automatons) should be properly installed along with it.

thank you for providing me all the additional information.

From the log it seems that the DLC is not installed into the game at all. I have also noted from your screens that you are still actually using the game on previous version (1.201). So that totally might be the reason here. Automatons – let it be the free update or the DLC – is on the version 1.202.

Can you try to check whether your game is updating properly?

To do so, please check you game properties in Steam; right click on SE in your Library -> Properties.

There, you can check the Updates tab and make sure there is chosen the option "Always keep this game updated." See my image.

Also please check whether you have not chosen to stay on the version 1.201 manually. This info can be found in Properties as well, just navigate yourself to the Betas tab and make sure there is "None" option and not any other beta version options selected.

If nothing from above works neither for you, can you please share me your Steam account name (or SteamID) so we can take a look on that as well in Steam directly.

Hello, Engineer,

yes, this is the problem.

Please in the menu from "scrin.png." you need to switch it to "None" option (on top of that list).

Since you have there manually set 1.201 version, Automatons DLC can not work for you. It is present on the version 1.202. You can update to this version when you choose the "None" option there. That would mean that the game will be automatically updating to the newest version.

Please change your settings there and let me know.
