Mirroring broken for various blocks (Warfare II, SOTF, Automatons)

Radio Doc shared this bug 20 months ago
Solved

It's more of an inconvenience than anything else when creating new ships and stations, however the mirroring utilized on the Sci-Fi Interior Wall, Pipeworks A & B, and Warfare Battery needs a some evaluation. Pipeworks blocks don't even try to mirror, while the Sci-Fi Interior Wall and Warfare Battery either introduce odd rotations into the mirror or don't even try to mirror depending on initial orientation. I bring up these blocks specifically due to visual flare they provide which drives the manner in which they're placed. When I'm working with these blocks I often find myself placing a block, then having to come out of mirror mode to delete and replace the block that had the wrong orientation, usually the Warfare Battery and Pipework blocks.

I noticed this was happening with the regular Assemblers also, the mirroring was not rotating them correctly resulting in many invalid conveyor lines!

Thank you for writing to us.

We are aware of Pipeworks & Sci-Fi Interior Wall mirror issue and have already reported it internally.

Concerning the mirror issue with the Warfare Battery, we have successfully reproduced it and reported it to our internal system as well.

Hello, Engineer,

the issue with the Warfare Battery block is now fixed on the current version of the game (v203.024 b0). The block is turned properly, when using mirroring.

Will close this thread now as solved.

Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you happen to observe/experience any other issue in the game.

Happy Engineering!

Kind Regards
