Sim speed sharply decreases when using hydrogen thrusters

Ryan Frogz shared this bug 18 months ago
Won't Fix

My sim speed sharply decreases when using the hydrogen thrusters on the attached ship. The issue appears to be somewhere within the hydrogen tanks, as turning them off and using the H2 generator or a new hydrogen tank for fuel doesn't cause the issue.

I don't remember doing anything that might have caused it aside from refueling. The problem first occurred mid-flight while I wasn't at the controls.

Hi, Ryan!

Thank you for writing to us.

Could you kindly share further information concerning the issue?

Are there any MODs in the world where you experienced this issue? If so, kindly try if the issue occurs in the vanilla (no active MODs/Plugin) world as well.

Please also check if changing the graphic quality preset resolves the issue. You can change the graphic Quality Preset by going to Options → Graphics → Quality Preset → change it to Low/Mid → save the changes and check if you still experience a drop in sim speed.

If the issue persists, kindly activate the world stats by pressing Shift + F11 and send us a screen recording/video showing the issue at your end and the blueprint of the ship with which you are experiencing this issue.

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file, and attach it here.

Kind regards,
