Space Engineers crashing when I try to launch it

Won't Fix

So I think this is the support for Keen software but if it's not just email me that it's not. So whenever I click run on space engineers it brings me to the loading screen and then it brings me to the crash screen. I've tried things like checking the integrity of the game cache but that didn't work. I also tried using an updated version of the game and that doesn't work. I don't know if it has something to do with the new automatons update or not. Please email me when you have found a possible solution.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Can you please share your log with me so that I can look into it and help you out with your crash?


- You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Hello,


The issue you have is related to the pluginloader,_


You have to remove the "-plugin "..\..\..\workshop\content\244850\2407984968\RunPluginLoader"" part in Launch options in steam to be able to start.


If you want to keep using pluginloader, you can just google and find a way to still get it to work!

as another user mentioned the problem is with the plugins you are using. Try the following: Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → General→ Launch options → There delete the plugin you are using.


Try to launch the game without it and please let us know if it works.
