Won't Fix
I FUCKING BOUGHT THIS GAME SO THAT I CAN ENJOY IN IT BUT NO! I CANNONT ENJOY IT BECAUSE OF YOUR FUCKING BUGS I EVEN BOUGHT DLC AND I HAVE SEEN THAT I HAVE A COOL SKIN FOR MY CHARACTER BUT WHEN I FUCKING TRY TO CHANGE IT AND CLICK OK MY GAME CRASHES! FIX YOUR FUCKING BUGS

thank you for reaching our forum regarding your issue. We are sorry that you are experiencing it.
In the past, we had some other player having the same problem as you do, judging by your text. Can you please try first the fix/workaround that helped them?
Please navigate yourself on your PC to "C:\Users\(your pc name)\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves" then the file in that folder and delete the "ActiveInventory.sbl"
This steps helped the players with this issue in the past.
If that is not working on your end, can you please provide me more information? Especially the log file when the crash happens would help. Or any steps that are leading to the game crashes; is this the only moment where the crash happens (changing the character skin etc.) or also some other situations and action that you are doing are crashing the game as well? Any more information that you can provide would help us.
You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers. Please send me the one from the session where you experienced the crash in.
