Server Connect Issue.

Won't Fix

While Trying to join Keen Software Servers, The Game Starts with "Joining to server" Then after 5 seconds it goes into "Waiting for Server to respond" Then after 40  seconds it goes into "Server not Responding"

The Things i checked already:

Checked my MTU - 1500

Checked my Firewall

Checked my VPN

Made sure my firewall allowed Space engineers;

I uninstalled and reinstalled Space Engineers on Steam and Validated Files.

I have tried everything and i cant connect to any Server on Space engineers but i can open an offline world perfectly fine. I am wondering if my Router is Blocking Keen Software IP Maybe? Im not completely sure what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

thank you for reaching our forum with your problem.

Can you please provide more information?

What servers are you trying to join? Are those any community servers e.g. with mods?

Can you please try to join some official Keen server? Would the behavior be the same?

Also please make sure that there is no 3rd party SW running on your end while trying to join. I suspect you are using the VPN since you wrote about it and that could be the problem. Can you try to join any server without usage of the VPN, please?

If the problems would persist even without VPN (or any other 3rd party SW) running, can you please send me a log file from the game session where you would observe this issue to happen?

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

When joining Keen server with no mods installed it says joining server, then server not responding. no third party software running on my end as well, 

No VPN is being used on my end. When sending you Log files are they the Text Documents in the Roaming/SpaceEngineers Folder? i dont see a log folder anywhere.

Hello, Tom,


if you are trying to connect to official Keen server, you will find the log in the \Roaming\SpaceEngineers folder. There should be several text documents. The one I need will read SpaceEngineers_(unique number)_(unique number).log. Please send me the one that was generated right after you tried to connect to the server. You can check the date and time of change.
