Hello, Alex Stutterheim,
I am very sorry you are experiencing this issue. You can try the following:
- completely uninstall your graphics card driver. Then reinstall.
- Uninstall the game through Steam and make sure that everything is gone from the Roaming and Steam file, there should be no leftover files at all ( You can access your Roaming files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers ). If there is still some present, please delete those manually. After you make sure that there is nothing left, restart your PC, install the game again, restart your PC and try to launch the game.
If you have Space engineers installed on D driver it could also help to download the game to C driver.
If none of these things work, then please let me know and I will instruct you further.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Keen Software House: QA Department

Hello, Alex Stutterheim,
I am sorry to hear that it did not work. Did any log got created when you tried to launch the game? If so can you please attach it here?
- You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
What graphics card are you using, is it integrated? Can you launch any other game or application?
You can also try to go to your computer display settings (not in the game) and change your screen resolution down one size so (for example from 1920x1080 to 1680x1050). Try to launch the game and if it works, exit the game and change them back to the previous size.
Or you can try to change actual desktop resolution to 720p (and then if it works back to 1080p). If you have the option try to also plug in another monitor and use it instead.
Thank you for letting me know.
Kind regards,
