Symmetry plane bug with even sized blocks

Dementiurge shared this bug 13 months ago
Reported

Behavior: In Symmetry Setup mode, the symmetry plane will appear in an incorrect position when previewed on a block that has an even number of blocks on the symmetry plane's axis.

E.g. When previewed on a small grid O2H2 generator block along its short axis, the first mirror plane will be previewed as on an even split, whereas clicking will produce a mirror plane with an odd split.

Reproduction: Enter Symmetry Setup (Default M) while facing a block that is two blocks wide, such as the small grid O2H2 Generator or Rover Cockpit. Align a symmetry plane with this block's even numbered width and compare the previewed plane with the plane that is created when clicking (or with the preview plane for other, odd-numbered blocks) (or for this same block along its odd-numbered dimension).

Expected: The previewed plane should accurately indicate the symmetry plane that will be placed, regardless of the block width's evenness.
