GPU spikes then game crashes / GPU driver failed due overheating/overclocking

Won't Fix

Hello,

Since I've installed game I sometimes got crash with fake overheating/overclocking driver error message. Checked everything I could in such case - drivers, viruses and so on, everything is good, clocks, temperatures and voltages are stable, Game is also not modded yet. Today managed to catch interesting thing - soon before crash game hanged two times, just for 0.5s and just before crash I have a huge lag spike on CPU and GPU. Any other game don't behaves like that. Well, StarCitizen had such issue year ago, but its alpha game amd after few patches it stopped. Afterall earlier crashes resulted also in "send bug report" window, but this time game just hanged without that window, also I do not have any logs in %appdata% from that minute. Can I do something to manually catch such thing to help you improve game?

Thanks for spared time

Hello, xxx.514,

thank you for letting us know.

Can you please provide me more information?

Is this issue happening in every world that you try? Even e.g. in Empty world?

Are you playing single player, or any form of multiplayer (in Lobby mode or on dedicated server)?

Anyway it would be good if you are able to send me the logs. You can delete all previous logs that you can find in the \Roaming\SpaceEngineers to make sure you have the log with the crash when trying again.

If the game would crash for you the same way as you are writing, please share me that log file from that game session.

To access the Roaming folder, which is hidden, you can type %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the folder in question.

It might also help, if you can provide me a log from Windows event viewer. You can find "how to" here.

Thanks.

Kind Regards
