Won't Fix

hello Keen!

my problems are: i cant upload to worksshop. i have tried every online guide i have come across. on steam, google, reddit etc. it doesnt work.

im attaching a screen picture that might help you, help me.

my other problem is that after some fiddling with the cloud in the steam client my dlc's dosent work anymore. i can see that i have them (in steam client) but when i spawn in a blueprint into a singleplayer work, it do the "you dont have the dlc" thing.

please help i have like at least 200 creations waiting to get onto the workshop.

my steam tag is GUTTERMAN.

Hello, Jonas!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Issues like uploading creations on Workshop and DLCs missing when pasting Blueprints in the world usually happen due to unstable/no Internet connection. Could you kindly check if you have stable internet when playing the game and if there is no VPN active? Please note you can still play the game in Single Player mode even without having an internet connection, even though you will face issues when uploading/publishing creations, finding creations on the in-game Workshop browser, or even pasting Blueprint that requires DLCs.

If the issue persists even with a stable internet connection, kindly verify game files on Steam. To do so,

  • Right-click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files

If that doesn't resolve the issue, reinstall the game. Before uninstalling, kindly backup all your Blueprints and world save in another folder.

  • You can access your save and blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar, and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that, just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers where you can find your Saves & Blueprint folder.

Copy-paste these folders onto another drive/folder and reinstall the game. After successfully installing the game, paste backup Save & Blueprints in the Space Engineers folder. Start the game and check if you can upload creation on the workshop or paste DLC required blueprints.

Kindly let us know if any of the above mentioned workarounds resolve your issue.

Kind Regards,

hello Again

Thank you for your quick response.

the dlc problem solved it self after a restart but i have had the "steam: error accessing service" issue for six mounths now.

i build all my creations offline but i do have a good stable internet connection, and dont use a VPN.

Im sad to say that i have allready tried all the things you wrote.

and i have allso tried the guide on steam on how to solve this issue.

i have also tried to reach out to steam to get them to clear out my cloud completely but they say that the cloud is not made for manual deletions.

i have attach some screenshots of what i think can be the problem. (and some of my creations for your amusement)

so i really dont know what to do about it other that maybe do a hard reboot of my pc.

Hello, Jonas!

We are sorry to hear that none of the workarounds have helped in resolving the issue you were experiencing.

We would also like to inform you that we have had a few players who also experienced the "Steam: error accessing service" issue, but it was resolved by trying the workaround mentioned on this thread.

If the issue persists after trying the workaround on that thread, kindly send us any blueprints you are having issues publishing.

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file, and attach it here.

We are looking forward to assisting you with this issue further.

Kind Regards,
