Multiplayer server question.
Won't Fix
How do I set setting to allow other players to join my game progression when I am offline.
Ex: when I play my friends are able to join but when I leave it kicks everyone off of my game? Why and is it possible to change this?

Can you please share me more information?
What type of the MP game are you playing? In Lobby mode, or on Dedicated server?
If in Lobby mode, there is no option for others to stay online on Lobby world that you started. Because you are technically running the server by sharing the world and all its settings etc directly from your PC.
Once you turn the game off (go offline), you actually stop that server and it is no longer running. Thus other players can not join there or stay playing.
If you want to have a server that will be running even after you leave the game, please use Dedicated server instead. You can find "how to" here:

This server from its own app can run even after the admin is no longer online.
