Can't turn on autosave in multiplayer never surrender game

Solved

I can't turn on autosave in multiplayer never surrender game. I've tried edit settings but it won't let me access it.

Hello, Alex!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

If we are understanding it correctly, you're playing in Lobby and can't turn-on the auto-save option in your world's setting?

Are there any MODs or Plugins active in your world/game? If so, please disable them and check if the issue persists.

If you still can't enable auto-save, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue at your end, the world save, and the log file when experiencing this issue.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Hi,

I do not have any mods or plugins in my game. Here are the files requested. The first screenshot is what appears when I try to access the game settings and the second one is showing that I cannot enable experimental mode. The log file is in the google drive since I had trouble attaching it.

Hello, Alex,

thanks for the save file.

Please keep in mind that the Experimental mode can be turned On/Off only in the Main menu. Not when you are already in the game.

Tried your save and everything was working fine, when I enabled the Experimental mode in the Main menu. Please see my image.

Please try to switch the Experimental mode On in the Main menu (Option -> Game -> Experimental mode), save the new settings, go to Load game, find your game that you want to change the settings to and proceed with Edit Settings button. This should work for you as well, as it was for me.

Please try it and let me know if it is working correctly.
