Event Controller merge block detection

The Event Controller needs the ability to detect when a merge block is no longer connected. Just like how the block added/removed feature allows you to look up a block, the EC needs to be able to select blocks like in the G menu and select one of a few events for each block (connector connected/not, merge block connected/not, thruster on/off etc). Aside from the menu itself, the merge block specifically is a big item that needs detection for use in things like bombs, missiles, escape pods etc. Please please add support for this.

Not just this, but it seems detection has mostly Yins without the yangs so to speak. Like it detects if a door is or has been opened, but not closed.

It really NEEDS to have the option for BOTH states for the blocks listed on/off, open/closed, locked/unlocked, occupied/unoccupied and so on.

The Event Controller does have the ability to detect if a door has been closed. The true/false trigger is just this. To detect when a door has been closed, set the desired action into the second slot of the trigger settings of the Event Controller.

Same with Hinge/rotor/advanced rotor/wheels/ Connector/Piston, anything that connects to a subgrid or another grid.
