replay tool Multiplayer

Won't Fix

I am trying to use the replay tool and add a character but the other character doesn't have my of stuff and it cant be teleported with spectator and and I cant open my helmet.


I think it has to do with it being a multiplayer world/server but I tried to hover over the reload world button and it says I cant do it because im the host??? Shouldn't that make it the only reason why I can reload it?


Please someone help me fix it and or tell me what to do.

I just checked the reload world button again. its saying im not the host. is there a way I can set myself as the host even tho I am hosting the server??

Thank you for writing to us.

Are you experiencing this issue when playing in Lobby or a Dedicated Server? On DS this is an expected behavior because Replay Tool is intended to be used on Single Player & Lobby.

Although if you are experiencing this issue on SP or Lobby, kindly make sure there are no active MODs in the world. If the issue persists in the unmodded (no active MODs) world, please send us a screen recording/video when experiencing this issue and the world's saved (unmodded) file.

  • You can access your saved files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
