Trying to join a server results in a "You have recently been kicked" message

Won't Fix

When i try to join a server the game just gives me an error reading "You have recently been kicked from this server."

But a: i have never been kicked from the server im trying to join (or in fact any server)

and b: why does the game care if the user has recently been kicked from a server? i am trying to join the server NOW, i dont care what supposedly happened in the past. a kick and a ban are two completeley different things

Hello, Alec!

Thank you for writing to us.

Could you provide us with some additional information?

As you have mentioned, you have never been kicked out from the said server (or any other server), so are you experiencing this same issue when joining other servers as well?

If you know or can ask other players on the said server, does anyone else have the same issue?

Can you send us your log files when experiencing this issue?

  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar, and you will get redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that, follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

We are looking forward to assisting you with this issue.

Kind regards,

Hello, Engineer!

Because there is no new comment from you, and we are unable to reproduce the issue on our own, I will close this thread now as outdated.

If you or any other player will experience this issue again, please make a new thread and provide all needed info there.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards
