Game hanging and continuing periodically
I've recently bought the game and I have similar issues to others reported.
The game runs fine. But every 5 minutes or so it hangs for ~10s and then carries on. The sound continues and animations are still there (like wavy grass) but the game is not accessible. This is just about tolerable when building, but almost unplayable when flying.
This is on a AMD Ryzen 9 3900x, 32GB, GTX1060s.
As with other reported issues, I have an Intel i7 based laptop and it runs flawlessly on there.
So is this an AMD issue?
I've tried all the usual suggestions, clean install, no mods, firewall, AV etc. Even looking at process pinning to see if the game is jumping between numa domains. The dll in the development kit doesn't make a difference.
(oh and autosave is turned off)
Any thoughts?

After investigating your log, it seems you are using MODs which could be the reason for the game's hanging. We recommend removing/deactivating all MODs and rechecking if the issue persists.
If you still experience the issue, kindly try lowering your graphic preset to Low/Medium. To do so, from the Main menu, click on Options, then on Graphics, and change the Quality preset to Low or Medium.
As you have mentioned trying various workarounds already, we still suggest attempting the following steps that might resolve your issue;
Verify your game files on Steam
Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file
Delete ShaderCache folder
In case none of the above workarounds solves your issue, kindly send us the new log file when experiencing this issue.
