Keen CA #2 Server
I just bought this game with high hopes but the glitches are overwhelming for how long this game has been out for. I finally started on a public server last week and everyday I log in and load up in front of my survival kit. Tonight I go to continue and it takes me to the drop pod selection menu. I tried loading into earth like drop pod and checked my info and all my grids are still showing up. MY gps marker is showing but the base is like over 100kms away with every drop pod attempt.
As a new player this is very frustrating as this game has such a deep learning curve to begin with. now I have to randomly start over cause I cant get back to my existing base cause its too far away and i cant fly there with the starter equipment.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Stuff like this happens even to experienced players.
For the start you need to play, and play some more. You will learn a syou go along. And you will fail and loose everythingh many, many times, so dont get attached.
Also stuff can randomly glitch out or get found and destroyed by other players.
Look up some videos on youtube that explain how the game works.
Dont drive buggies on planets ( they fall thru the skin and to the planet core when you least want them too) Use flying contraptions.
Build a cryo chamber and sleep in it during restarts so you dont loose your stuff and keep your base powered.
Unpowered grids get deleted, unless touching voxels, but you cant spawn to a unpowered grid and you dont survive in an unpowered cryochamber.

Thanks for the reply. I understand about not getting attached and i will be making new things over and over again as thats the point of the game. Im saying that when i enter the game through a drop pod cause the auto respawn didnt load me to my kit, i can see all my grids still through tue info screen.
I have batteries and wind power so grids were powered. Right now the only bug is that i cant respawn AT the base. And when i spawn in a pod im always too far away to be able to easily get back there.
But things like dont build rovers... why even have wheels if the developer says dont use them cause you will most likely tear through the terrain. Which i have already experienced actually. Lol
So theres no way to zap me back to my gps coordinates or something? Just abandon the base and start from scratch is the advice im getting?

Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce your issue on my side.
My survival kit was always working and I could spawn properly next to it when entering the game again.
Does this issue happened to you just once and by chance, or can you provide some steps to reproduce?
I would need to be able to reproduce it on my side as well, in order to make a bug report.
If it was just once and you are not able to reproduce it, I would ask you to contact your server admin:
