On/Off Toggle Not Showing on Toolbar

The on/off actions that I had set on my toolbar (ex. toggle thrusters on/off or weapons or anything). When I loaded my single player survival world this last time 11/22/22 5am ish eastern I jumped in one of my ships and almost my entire toolbar was greyed out. After looking a little harder it seems that all of the toggle on toggle off or toggle on/off options are greyed out and not usable so I went to reassign the groups and/or blocks but the on off options don’t show up as a toolbar action for anything anymore, I can still toggle everything off in the “K” menu but not on the toolbar. Let me know if there is anymore info you need or anything else I can provide to help.

Same issue, 11/22/22 midday eastern. A bit more info from my tests:

- Issue appeared in the middle of a session (NOT after loading world or changing any settings). All already existing on/off buttons across all toolbars (different ships and stations) turned to grey (inactive / block not existing). Some of them didn`t show any description in toolbar after entering G menu, some other showed only group/block name.

- On/off option is currently not available in G menu, neither trough dragging block to toolbar nor right - click. It simply does not appear on the list. Blocks / groups can still be turned on / off in K menu manually.


- I`ve checked my separate save in creative world - exactly same situation.

- Interestingly, my very old save without any mods, different playtrough from ~2021, does not have that issue. Even after loading same set of mods - issue still didn`t appear.


Tested troubleshoot: reassigning blocks to toolbar, reassigning block groups, restarting world, restarting game, even restarting PC. No solution so far.

Could you provide some more information related to the issue?

Are you experiencing this issue in modded (active MODs) or an unmodded/vanilla world? If the issue is occurring in the modded world, please deactivate all the mods, and recheck if the issue persists. If you still experience the issue, kindly send us the saved world (unmodded) file and screen recording/video when experiencing this issue.

  • You can access your saved files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

If you're experiencing the issue with a particular ship, kindly send us the blueprint of the affected ship.

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file, and attach it here.

After logging in today it seems everything is working as it should again. I can definitely still get that info for you though if you would like just let me know.

Hey, I'm playing on xbox and I'm experiencing similar issues. No mods, just playing the regular game, on learning to survive.
