Hello, Kacper,

thanks for contacting us with your issue.

I take it all other saves are unaffected and you can play them just fine, right?

Did you try to load this broken world also without mods, as I can see that you are using some?

Are any of the backup saves working for you, so you could play from that point, or is the issue present for all the saves (the main (last) one and also for the backup files)?

I read the log file, and while there are some information that are pointing towards what the issue might be, I would also need the whole save file to try it on my end as well and to be able to see your sbc and sbs files and such. Can you please share me that?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Thanks.

Kind Regards

[I haven't created an account while I submitted ticket, but it's still me]

I didn't have any other saved game at the time that my save got crashed. I've tried creating new save and it works perfectly. Also I can't do anything to my savegame, because game says it's damaged on all menu screens, and all options are inactive.

I'm attaching my damaged save.

Hello, Kacper,

sorry the reply took so long.

I think I found a (partial) solution for you – thanks for sending me the save file.

Even though it is indeed corrupted and I can not do anything with it in the game – game is not loading, backups are not showing, log is messed up, sbc file is corrupted with no data in it at all – I was able to retrieve some data in the end :)

As you can see on my image, the backup save are actually still there and working, just the last one is corrupted (and thus the game is not working, because it's looking to this save folder first (as it's last backup)).

All the others backups seems intact :) See my images to get the better idea.

Here is what you need to do:

Navigate yourself to the Roaming folder. Find the corrupted save. Open in in Windows browser, go to Backup folder. Copy-paste (or cut; Ctrl + X) all five folders from there. Paste them right to the folder with all other saves.

Run the game, go to Load menu. The extracted backup save files should be there, like on my side.

Once I try to load one of these non-corrupted saves, it's working fine.

Please let me know if it's working for you as well. Hope it will work.

Kind Regards
