Turret AI still lazy, sleeping and unresponsive 75% of the time

Duplicate

would like to bring turret AI to the attention of game devs and admin. it was claimed fixed, but here is 20minutes of combat/pvp where 30 turrets DO NOTHING. Despite my desperate attempts to make them wake up.

please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dam0Qq-zzh4

After the 2.01 update Turrets don't sleep as much, but when they do you CANNOT wake them.

it makes pvp impossible to enjoy.

Hello, KAV567!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I see you have commented on a similar thread with this video https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/25203-turrets-dont-shoot-with-copy-target-functuin-on-dedicated-server Could you please confirm if this is the same issue? It sounds like this could be the same. If it is, could you please supply a scenario that would allow me to reproduce the issue in the linked thread? I need to be able to reproduce the issue to report this internally. I will then mark this as a duplicate and work from the main thread.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Kind Regards

I will mark this one as a duplicate as it seems to be the issue I linked. I have now reproduced the issue so please keep an eye on the linked thread. I have included your video in the back office as it's very useful :)
