[INVENTORY MOD SUPPORT] Add a dictionary of properties to physical items.
Not Enough Votes
Add a dictionary of properties to physical items. This would open up many possibilities for mod creators to save custom information in items.
It is practically impossible to control custom properties of items when they change inventory or become floating objects, having a dictionary on these items to save these properties would be very useful for mod creators.
This change would impact practically only the class "MyObjectBuilder_PhysicalObject" which stores the contents of inventory items "MyPhysicalInventoryItem".
If you would do something like that that would be great. Especially with regard to the unfortunately lacking survival aspect. Ogrimdooh here is currently working on a very very good survival mod :)
Greetings Andi

Anything that makes it easier for modders to improve this game *needs* to be implemented by Keen. Dead horses can only be flogged so much with purely 'cosmetic' DLC.

Make of that mockingly illusory deadline what you will.

Thirty-second'ed
And merge this with ammo entities while you're at it, or rather, make guns just shoot the item entities. They already use the same models
