Depressurize vent in off position will suck atmosphere after "continue game".

I'm not sure if this exists in multiplayer but it is definitely a thing for single player. I am running into depressurize bug when you reload or "continue game". The vents set to "off" and "depressurize" upon reloading or "continue game" will suck air even though they are set to the off position. Updating the block will stop the "sucking action" Here are some screenshots. I'm sure you can recreate the setup and implement a fix.

Hi Keen Team!

I can confirm I was able to reproduce this problem :

The Depress action will depressurize the room even when the air vent is turned Off and there is available Oxygen.

I have tested different auto-airlocks on the Alien planet and noticed it's the same every time the air vent is set "Depressurize ON" while that air vent is turned OFF, happens all the time in closed rooms so not just when restarting the world.

If Oxygen there is :

-> The turned OFF air vent will Depress IF there is Oxygen so that can happen when other air vent are set to Pressurize that adds Oxygen in the room in same time.

That you can reproduce using the OP's Workshop World.

This is also reproducible on the Alien Planet or Earth-like Planet custom games. Steps to reproduce:

  1. start a new game using the Alien Planet or Earth-like Planet Custom Game
  2. On entering the world, go to a Control Panel
  3. turn OFF the Oxygen Generator
  4. turn OFF Air Vent 4
  5. open an exterior door to vent oxygen
  6. close exterior door and let the vents pressurize the interior again
  7. go to a Control Panel
  8. check the Oxygen Tanks to verify they have been slightly depleted, and are NOT being refilled
  9. Exit to the menu, click SAVE to save the progress
  10. at the main menu, exit the game
  11. wait for the game to stop
  12. start the game
  13. load the save game
  14. upon entering the world, go to a Control Panel
  15. check Air Vent 4 and observe that it is powered OFF and depressurizing (pulling external oxygen into the base)
  16. check the Oxygen Tanks and verify they are filling
  17. check the Oxygen Generator and verify it is OFF and not producing oxygen
  18. power cycle Air Vent 4
  19. observe it no longer depressurizes
  20. check the oxygen tanks and verify they are no longer filling

I can provide a save game if required.

Thank you :)

Hello, Engineers!

Sorry that you have run into this issue. Thank you all for the great detail and also the world file. I have successfully reproduced the issue and reported it internally.

Kind Regards

Still an issue with multiple bug reports. BuildInfo mod even shows the O2 L/s on the vent itself. This bug applies to Air Vent Fan Full released in 2023 as well.
