Unable to launch the game as of the latest update.

I have not been able to launch the game since the latest update, I have around 140 hours in space engineers and never had an issue this difficult to fix, I went to the steam forums first and tried to get help there and the only thing I was able to confirm is that it was the latest update that broke my game, as I was able to run a previous version and get into the menu.
