Block Weapons not shooting until manually updated

I experience in multiplayer with friends that after the new Weapon 2 Update, block weapons don't fire unless you press shoot once or toggle the blocks on and off.

This very troubles some for defense systems that are just AFK then getting shot at even then all settings are set correctly they are just waiting for a so-called "update", like pressing "shoot once" and then they all start to work like they normally would.

This is very inconsistent sometimes some of the turret works sometimes they all work and other times nothing works.

This also goes for AI-controlled ships we use the mod "mes" to fight other ships but they simply don't even shoot back sometimes.

This also seems to mainly affect ships and not stations but I can't yet confirm this.

This is consistent through 2 different servers we have tried.
