Hello , i have a problem with Space Engineers , i try to launch the game but some .dds are missing (if i read the log correctly) i try to reupload (by steam) and reinstall the game without active antivirus but nothing is beter.

here is the description of what happens (every time):

App launch ; Steam Check update (less1sec) ; space engineers logo (~5/6 sec) ; apparition off square (whitout S E logo) in menu bar ; black screen (of app) (~5/6 sec); apparition off Nvidia Speach support (~3 sec) ; black screen again (~5/6 sec) app shut down.

i obiously tried several solutions witch are given of your website.

i try to modify some steam's configuration like outline mode and verify all of drivers/update but nothing on that side either.

i hope it will be helping you and i'm sorry for my apporximations , english is not my native language ;)

Can you please try both of the below steps?

Add -skipintro into the game launch options
Renaming / Deleting "\Steam\SteamApps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Videos" folder

Please let me know how you get on with this :)
