Sensors wont detect players exiting a cockpit within the sensor's detection range
Solved
Like title says, sensors will not detect a players when exiting a cockpit while within the sensor's detection range. You have to leave the bounding box and enter it to be detected.
I have welders, grinders, or drills next to a cockpit on mining and utility ships, and a sensor is set to turn them off when exiting the cockpit to avoid taking any/much damage. Since Warfare 2, this is no longer possible.
Hi!
Since warfare 2, sensors are now capable of detecting players that are inside seats, beds, cockpits, desks, cry-rooms etc.
Try an inverted setup where the sensor has a smaller field and only detects the player while he is inside of the cockpit. When the player leaves, use the second action slot of the sensor to disable the tools.
