Parachute Auto Deploy status not shown on toolbar icon

All of the other toolbar icons show the status of the function they are displaying except parachute auto deploy.
Enter G menu in a control seat and select Auto Deploy On/Off and put on the toolbar. Press the corresponding button to cycle it. There is not status display showing if it is on or off.
The only way to tell is to go into the k menu and select the block(s) or group and see if the check box for auto deploy is checked or not. This defeats the purpose of the tool bars.
