transparent LCD skin not showing

since yesterday, all transparent LCDs with a script on them lose their skin, when i place it it has it's skin, but when i set show content to script the skin disappears, leaving only the colour. i've tried everything i can think of, turning my computer on and off, replacing the blocks, repainting the blocks to different colours and skins, replacing the ship, validating steam files, going in a vanilla world to see if any mods are the issue, nothing works. this issue only seems to effect transparent LCDs and only when there's a in-game script, (i.e artificial horizon, etc) reporting the bug is the last thing i can think of before i just give up and accept that transparent LCDs just can't have skins anymore.
