[1.200] Flickering Blocks when moving & viewed from a distance

Solved

I reported this bug years ago and it was fixed, it's back.. recorded short video showing it again.

thanks for letting us know.

As I wasn´t sure what you mean by "i´ve reported it some time ago", I looked on your profile and found only this one thread that sounds kind of similar. Did you mean this?

Because if you did, then please note that it is still in Reported awaiting fix. It´s possible that this issue comes and goes with updates and according to your settings. As I did try to load the save from above shared thread and did not experience any of said behavior; while the ship was the same as on video here. So I believe you might mean this one.

If you really meant shared thread, I will close this as duplicate. If you meant something different, can you share me the save file as you did last time to my colleague, please?

This bug is regarding blocks visually twitching when zoomed out, it has no relation to a previous bug report I have made regarding twitching grids.

I have been reporting bugs since the game was originally released, well before this support forum you are replying to me here existed, the original forum as you know was shut down and feedback is now gathered on this new forum.

Not as bad as the twitching shadow bug from from 2015, now that was annoying.

The shadows bug is of course fixed many years ago, just including as a somewhat similar bug, although this was regarding shadows, not the actual blocks.

Basically > move your ship to speed > zoom out to view ship at a distance like in the video's I have linked > bug can be seen.

How you would "need more information" is beyond me, you can literally see the bug with your eyes.

I am not using mods.

I've not played the game for a few months now as I am waiting for the next major update to be released.

I will certainly update this bug report after the next major update regarding if said bug has been fixed or not.

It has been a considerable amount of time since this issue was originally posted, as well as since the last comment.

Could you kindly inform us if you are still experiencing this issue in the latest version of Space Engineers (1.202.124), or if it has been resolved in the meantime?
