memory 'leakage' not fully fixed as yet (heavy industry update)

Won't Fix

To reproduce.

load game:


(check mem usage)

start world, paste in MANY grids, fly about a bit

exit to start menu

(check mem usage)

later value will be much higher, game is not releasing/dealocating memory when it should.

Hello, BigOIBear,

thanks for letting us know about your concern.

However, when we did try it on our side, we don´t see necessary evidence of a memory leak. The fact alone of not immediately releasing memory previously used by the game after loading back to main menu is not necessarily a sign of a leak as there might not be a need to release it.

If you want us to investigate more, please provide evidence of memory leak, including the logs from the session where suspected memory leak is happening and of course steps to reproduce said leak.

What have you written here is not enough for us to start with. We would need some better explanation where to look etc.
