Reported

The Tracks created by wheels can appear in front of the wheels/vehicle when using a gyro. This is most noticable when bouncing as shown in the youtube video below. Also happens out of that example.

Hello, MacGynan,

unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce your issue so far. Is it possible, that you have some special settings of gyro, car, wheels etc.? Could you send us save of your world and/or BP of the car? Thank you very much.

Where you can find your save games:

by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards

Hi, there are no mods in the world. It was Just a brand new Solar System world. (Attached anyway).

I used the Lunar Crawler by Xocliw: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=557872694

It used just base SE wheels with no scripts.

That BP is from 2015 but I was able to reproduce it with other newer vehicles too. (Amphion by Spaced Cadet: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2279393984) I did however modify this one to have 2 extra gyros to allow it to be moved with gyros on the ground.

The bug is more noticable with higher speeds. And maybe hevier vehicles? Did not test that.

Hello, MacGynan,

thanks for providing those information. It is indeed quite visible with those cars/BP that you provided.

This issue has been added to our internal system.

Thanks for cooperation.
