Connector bug on private server. Ship cannot roll when connectors are built onto ships.

When connectors are built onto my ships, I cannot roll the ship while hovering at 0 m/s. When I cut the connectors off, I am able to roll the ship as normal. This is a game stopper and I've been trying for 3 days to find a fix or a work around, but no luck. I've copied/pasted ships, and grinded them down and started over with new builds and designs. The same problem persists no matter what I do. Dear Keen devs, please come to the server and see what is going on. I am the owner and have admin rights. I can give you any info you like but please help! Thank you.
