1.88.022 Planet surface doesn't render correctly

i'm sorry i have no real recreation steps, but i'll try
Joined a map. Flew with spectater mode to mars, flew back to earth, while i flew to the surface very fast it stopped getting more detailled so it stayed that way. Worked when i flew away but getting closer to it doesn't work.
