1.192.020 | Hand grinder keeps grinding down the wrong blocks.

Hello! I've noticed an issue recently where the hand grinder, instead of grinding down the block I'm pointing at and that appears in the panel to the right, grinds down a totally random block nearby. That block doesn't necessarily have to be on the same grid, and it could be the block behind the one I'm trying to grind down, it could be one off to my side, or even one behind me.

This happens on dedicated servers, both modded and otherwise. Not yet tested in singleplayer. It happens on both small and large grids.

EDIT: It would appear this is a duplicate of this issue from 4 months ago, which didn't appear in any suggestion lists until after I posted.

Seeing this all over.

repro steps:

face a block
grind it most of the way down
face a different block
press mouse1, and the block from step 1-2 will be ground down before the current block is ground.

Suspected other repro steps: completely grind a block with a second block behind it. Don't grind the second block. Face a third block, hit grind, and I bet the second block will be damaged.

Yes, and can I just say it's way harder to weld/grind piston heads than it should be? Especially on piston stacks my goodness, there is like one pixel on the screen that you can use to weld the things. It takes forever to find it.

First of all, thank you for the half a dozen or so notification emails. Like everyone, I like waking up to a cluttered inbox because you don't know how to fit everything into a single post.

Second, this issue is currently under investigation, has been reproduced successfully, and will be fixed. It is marked "under investigation" because either:

The update containing the fix hasn't been pushed yet and is awaiting other fixes.
-or-
The issue is more complicated than was originally thought or steps are being taken to prevent it happening again in the future.

Last, but certainly not least, under no circumstances is telling someone to "go kill yourself" acceptable. I suggest you grow up.

Yes, grinding down (or deleting in creative mode) the correct block seems to be harder than before. Happened to me a lot recently. You focus on one block but another one will be grinded down.
