[1.188.023] Game not closing after failing to connect to server

After failed attempt to join a friends server. Closing the game after will cause the game to not exit properly and keep running the process in the background. Sometimes not even showing up in the task manager resulting in having to exit steam and restart it to be able to start the game again.
