[01.188.xxx] Game wont start :(

The_Jan shared this bug 6 years ago
Won't Fix

After pressing 'play' in Steam, the game show a small white empty window and tells me that I should update my drivers and update windows.

I have done both, but nothing worked.

I tried some of the Windows 10 workarounds (like win8 compatibility mode and such), but no luck :(

I run a ultrawide screen, and 1070Ti on win10pro_x64 ... Have a HTC Vive connected, but not started (SteamVR is not running).

Please help. I haven't played SE in SOO long now. *sad face*

Hello,

Thank you so much in responding to my ticket!

As stated in the original message, I have updated everything.

This is the same bug that is in previous version.

For more information and details, I point you to the following two previous bug-reports:

It´s quite long time from when the issue was originally posted. Is it still happening to you, or was it fixed meanwhile?
