Wheeled vehicles Exploding
Hi
This is such an odd issue but one that plagues on so many different games I have created. Best way to explain is via the image supplied.
This issue seems to happen when I leave my main base for a period of time (on this occasion I was trading with another faction and was a fair distance from my base). I first noticed an issue when the GPS for my drop pod was missing, and low and behold its because it was destroyed.
Other examples are when I find vehicles in their protective garages on fire and upside down with no explanation. Again this was after leaving my base for a period of time. Another time I was mining and when I returned, one of my vehicles had clipped into the ground and looked like it was having an epileptic fit. On this particular occasion reloading a saved game fixed it, But this has now meant I am created new games with a large amount of save points just in case.
Please help
Hello Gav,
Thank you for reaching out to us, and sincere apologies for the delayed response to this thread.
Did this occur in Single Player, or on a Lobby or Dedicated Server?
If it happened in multiplayer, is it possible that the grids were attacked or interfered with by other players while you were away?
If this happened in Single Player, were any of the affected blocks modded?
Could it be possible that your grids were attacked by pirate NPC ships or drones?
Have you seen this issue occur in a completely vanilla (unmodded) world or server?
Are there any scripts, rotors, pistons, or wheels involved with the affected grids?
Does the issue appear after a long absence from the area, or even after a short time away?
If possible, please share a world or server save and a screen recording/video showing the issue in action (if possible), along with the log file from the time it occurred.
Kind regards,
