Event Controller Turning Itself Off.

Jason shared this bug 10 months ago
Won't Fix

I set up my ships to shut down and start up using timer blocks and an event control. When I dock everything shuts down as it is supposed to, but the event controller turns itself off which it is not supposed to do. I don't know why or how it is doing this. I've never had this issue before the last DLC update.

Event controllers are bugged in general. They often don't update the container fill stat

Hello Jason,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum.

Is this issue occurring in a modded world or server, or in a vanilla (unmodded) one? If it's happening in a modded world/server, please create a blueprint of the affected grid(s) and paste it into a new vanilla world/server. Then, check if the issue still occurs. If it doesn't, the issue may be related to the active MODs or scripts.

However, if the issue persists even in a vanilla world/server, please send us a screen recording/video showing the issue, along with the blueprint of the affected grid.

  • You can access your blueprints files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Kind regards,
