Changing textures not possible on multiplayer servers

Hello guys,

we found a massive issue with textures.

It is not possible to change texture in the game when playing multiplayer.

We reproduced the issue on Keen official servers and on our server hosted on GTX gaming.

The issue doesn't occur on local (singelplayer) games.

Everything is on the most up to date version. Everyone of us testing the issue is using the fieldwor update + DLC.

I can't exactly tell when it started. I think the first hours / day it worked.

Hopefully you can find a solution. If you need additional information please refer back to me.

Armor skins not working on Official Server.

When trying to paint a block with a selected skin from the paint menu, the skin does not show. Instead the block is with the default skin. Attached are pictures showing what I want to skin the block, and how the block actually looks after welding.

Unable to change skin on blocks

While I was building my base on a server I noticed some block got built using default skin instead of clean armor skin I'm using. It turns out I can paint block in any color I want and they will have the default "no skin" texture even if I use something like disco armor. If I choose a different color and press MMB I hear the sound of painting the block and the color changes. When I only select a different skinfor the block, but the color is the same, I don't hear any sound and the skin doesn't change. I do not know how this happened and how to recreate it. It just happened randomly at 2 am. I am attaching screenshots. So far I have tried deleting the config file from %appdata% Please help me.

Can't apply armor skins in multiplayer (New)

Good day.

Today I noticed a problem in my game on a dedicated server (Windows), skins stopped being applied and used on all my blocks. At first it worked, I managed to recolor my base and a few other elements, but after rebooting the server, skins are no longer applied to blocks and are not used on new blocks (although they are displayed on them before installation). DLCs have been purchased, the blocks from the DLC are installed, but no matter what skins I choose, the colors change, and the standard skins are applied to them.

I transferred the saves from the dedicated server to the local computer and everything works correctly there.

I have already read a similar old topic, but I cannot run Steam on two computers at the same time. If I run a dedicated server through Steam, when I try to run the game on my computer, I get a message that Space Engineers is already running on another computer and it will be disabled.

What should I do on a dedicated server? Thank you.

Happy to hear that you are no longer experiencing it.

Since even we can not reproduce it on our side, and it appears to be rather Steam glitch then actual bug in our game, I will close this thread.
