This is default behaviour, the 2nd player will have to logout in a cryopod to retain their tools

What exactly is the problem, please?
By who do you mean "2nd player"? Some of your friends that you are playing with? Or your 2nd character after you die in the game?
Where are you playing the game? Are you using the Lobby multiplayer, or playing on dedicated server? Who is running the server?
Any more information that you can provide - for example steps to reproduce, video showcasing the issue - would help!
