Gyro and Wheel rotation drift

Hello, I'm having issues with both gyroscopes and wheels: both drift slowly in whichever direction you last turned after you stop providing rotational input (mouse/numpad for gyroscopes or A/D for wheels).

Repro:

  1. Get in a ship or a ground vehicle and move forward. If a ship, switch off dampeners - if a ground vehicle, keep holding the forward key.
  2. Turn with either a gyroscope or using wheels, and then stop providing turn input.
  3. Observe a small amount of drift in the direction you just turned well after you stopped providing input. It's easier to see when using the artificial horizon LCD script, as it's more sensitive than the HUD motion vector indicator.

Hi, this is still a problem and I wanted to give an easier repro for it:

  1. Go to Triton's ice fields and set a signal somewhere on the surface
  2. Fly away from signal and place down a wheeled vehicle
  3. Attempt to drive in a straight line towards that signal after making a turn - any turn
  4. Observe rotational drift in the direction you last turned - you have to keep correcting with alternating turn keys to keep driving "straight"

This also still seems to apply to gyroscopes.

Just leaving another comment to say this issue report is still relevant as of the Fieldwork update.

Ships will also occasionally jerk a couple of degrees when on dedicated servers - I'm not sure if the two are related, so including it in this report. I suspect this may be the server being overzealous in trying to correct rotations.
