Game (sort of) crashes when leaving planet. Unplayable afterwards.

Hi,
Whilst trying to fly to space in a ship the screen just moves to a view of space. No ship or engineer, just space that is no where near where I previously was. I've tried everything I can think of to solve the problem but had no luck. The video attached shows the problem, it happens almost immediately after the save is loaded.
Please take a look and if possible, let me know how I can solve the issue.

Can you please provide more information?
Does this happen in only one specific save file/world, or in multiple, or even in every that you tried?
Can you try to press the <V> key to see if your character just isn't out of the ship?
Are you able to move around, use your jetpack (<X> key)?
Did this happen also before with the same ship? Or even with some other?
Can you please share me the affected save file, so I can investigate it on my side as well, please?
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

It is this save file that it happens on plus any save files that I have tried to "save as" from the original. I've never had any trouble like this with any other save file.
I pressed the <v> key as directed and I'm definitely in the ship.
No, I can't seem to use the jetpack once it's happened.
It was supposed to be the first time I took this ship into space so it hasn't happened to it before. No other ship I have used in this save file has had this issue.
I should mention that this ship is one that I have rebuilt from a crashed distress beacon ship.
