Won't Fix

I am trying to publish blueprints to the Steam Workshop but they end up creating a blank item. In the SE log, it says:

2024-08-25 16:38:08.527 - Thread: 1 -> GC Memory: 3688.087 / 3688.087 MB

2024-08-25 16:38:09.408 - Thread: 1 -> Error during publishing: LimitExceeded

2024-08-25 16:38:09.408 - Thread: 1 -> Info: Workshop item with id 3317487047 update finished. Result: k_EResultLimitExceeded

My Steam Cloud currently reports 0/381MB used.

Hello engineer,

We sincerely apologize for the delayed response to this thread and thank you for your patience.

The error message k_EResultLimitExceeded indicates that you've encountered a limit set by Steam, not the game itself, when trying to upload your blueprint. Here are some potential causes and solutions:

Possible Causes:

  • File Size Limit: The blueprint might be too large, as Steam restricts the size of uploads.
  • Item Count Limit: You may have reached the maximum number of items you can upload to the Workshop.
  • Upload Frequency Limit: Steam might limit multiple uploads in a short period to prevent spamming.

Solutions:

  • From the Main Menu, go to Options > Game and check if 'Enable Cloud' is checked. If it's checked, uncheck it, click OK, and then try publishing your Blueprint on the Steam Workshop again.
  • Try reducing the file size by optimizing or removing unnecessary components from the blueprint.
  • Check your Steam Workshop page to see if you've hit the upload limit, and consider archiving or deleting older items.
  • If it's a frequency issue, waiting a few hours or a day before attempting another upload may resolve the issue.

Please let us know if any of these solutions work for you.

Kind Regards,
