Static grid doesn't fall when damaged

So I been playing recently and I noticed tower like static grids don't fall when damaged. My friend has to go into the damaged grid and force it to convert into a large grid. I really miss the destruction fun we use to have. I don't have the force static grid setting on, I'm just blowing towers at the bottom or middle. I think it was a lot of fun planning out how they would fall or just having them fall naturally but now they float and it just kills the fun and looks out of place.

Turns out Keen is happy with static grids floating in the air when its suppose to free fall. "optimizing" the destructive fun that you could only find in Space Engineers.

Another user made a suggestion to make this VERY restrictive setting switchable setting in the menu like how adaptive simulation quality is. I suggest we upvote it so we can experience free falling static grids again.

I feel like this bug report someone posted about unmerging a large static grid only to have it stay static is relatable/same to this bug. Thought should post this too I really want large static becoming a free falling thing again when cut down like a tree.

Should of included these in the first post but this is what I'm talking about. Damaging a static grid and cutting it doesn't fall even with that station setting on that make static grids fall. The smaller tower on the right corner crumbles but the tall one floats taunting me...
