Passage Stairwells

Can we please get stairwell passage blocks, or at least a passage block that has straight walls instead of the flared out bottoms to use within stairwells?
This type of stuff tends to detract from a look -

If we could also make it airtight on the bottom and back, it would also fulfil the suggestion I made that was, alas, archived.
